When Chef Brandon Jew took over the famed Four Seas building in San Fransisco for his new restaurant Mister Jiu’s, his mission was to create a new space that still celebrated the Chinatown he grew up visiting. He applies his background in San Francisco’s hyper-seasonal food to the comforting Cantonese and Chinese food he grew up eating. And while Brandon may constantly question his dishes, it would be rather hard for him to question his success.
