Stay

Описание: After meeting a new man, a what I thought my knight in shining armor. I at the beginning of our relationship always wanted to be with him. You know how it is at the beginning, all new and exciting. His job however took him out of the country quite frequently. I hated this and one Sunday when he had to leave yet again! I begged him to stay till at least the early morning. I just hated sleeping without him, i'd quickly gotten used to having him sleep next me. In his arms I felt safe and warm....so yes I begged! After he left telling me it was impossible for him to stay till the morning I sulked and wrote this poem now tweaked into a song.
Sadly as the years passed this poem has meant more than just his job taking him away. Sad but i've come to realize for my own mental health it's probably best things worked out the way they did,... he was/is very toxic.
