Im using two of these DeWalt voltage converters on some bumper cars that currently have very week 7 volt batteries. Using These batteries for power tools is a great option due to being able to use the batteries in your actual tools when kids aren't using their toys, leading to longer battery live as well.
Im not partial to DeWalt its just the battery tools I have around.
