Most of us don’t struggle to take a day off—we struggle to take a Sabbath. Our lives are full, loud, and fast, and even our rest often leaves us tired. From the beginning, God knew this. Before there was sin, striving, or exhaustion, God gave a gift: Sabbath. Not as a rule to obey, but as a rhythm to receive. Sabbath is not an escape from life, but an invitation into life with God—time set apart to rest, delight, and worship in His presence.
