I saw Jamie Woon do an amazing version of this song and that inspired me to try one with a bit more of a funk twist. I couldn't cover his version cause there is no way I could hold a candle to it so I decided to make it my own. Such a killer tune.
For this video I used the Roland RC505 loopstation. One of my favourite things about this is the fact that you can use stereo imaging on each of the channels. So it is very easy to set your pans and effects on each of the seperate channels. It also has some killer on-board effects as well that I didn't get to explore in this vid but it's well worth having a look at if you are a live looper. I shot this using a still frame and then did some cutaway shots dubbed over my main take. Hope u like it yo.
