Описание: Welcome to Costa Rica, the rich coast.
Full of amazing wildlife, beautiful beaches, and amazing scenery.

We start our journey from the border of Nicaragua in the north and proceed to travel along the Nicoya peninsula for the next week taking in all the beach life we can manage. Camping on the beach is easily one of our favorite places to camp while we travel, mainly for the view, the wind, and the soothing ocean that puts us to sleep.

After a week or so of beach life we venture into the mountains. Out first stop in the mountains is the area of Monte Verde. This lush and vibrant area is home to just an many tourists as animals and we try and find some free hikes as park entry fees are in excess of $30 each.

From Monte Verde we move east past the capital to the area of San Gerardo De Toda Valley. One of the most beautiful areas we have seen on our travels so far. Its sketchy getting there with a camper as the road in is extremely steep but are rewarded with an amazing and secluded place.

The highest point in all of Costa Rica is next; the Cerro Muerte, the Mountain of death. We spent a few night camped up on this 3500 meter mountain to avoid the heat of the beaches and just to experience a new place in Costa Rica.

Overall, while we didn't do any paid activates, we really had a good time here in this country of riches.
