The Quint: Kidney Racket: Four Doctors, CEO of Hiranandani Hospital Arrested

Описание: In the kidney racket at Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hopital, five doctors including the CEO of the hospital have been arrested.
The racket came to light on 14 July 2016, when the police got a tip-off about a transplant taking place.
People were promised Rs 20 lakh for donating their kidneys but were only given Rs 1 lakh. Police investigation is underway.
