In this video, i share how to make onunu in a food processor.
This meal is popular in the southern part of Nigeria. It is one of my favorite meals in the world and i am glad to share it with you.
Ingredients
2 overripe plantains
5 slices of yam
palm oil
salt
To boiling water, add yam and salt. Allow to boil till slightly soft and then add plantains with peel on. Bring both to a boil till both are soft.
In a food processor, add yams and blend. When smooth, add palm oil and sugar(optional). Blend again till well mixed.
Take peel off the plantains and then add it to the blended yams and blend again till well mixed, smooth and stretchy.
