We discuss the separation axioms topological spaces can satisfy (T0,T1,T2,T3,T4), and focus upon Hausdorff spaces, regular spaces and normal spaces. We consider examples such as the Sierpinsky space, the Sorgenfrey line and the finite closed topology. We also discuss the notion of metrizable topoloical spaces and end with the definition of a topological manifold.
