Now artificially inseminating Queen Bees is very skilled worked. It takes years to master this skill and there is only a handful of people in the UK that can currently do this super skilled AI work.
Because queens mate on the wing they will mate with other drones outside your line and maybe breed with drones that carry traits you wish to remove. On top of that Bees can fly 3 miles from the hive so its almost impossible to breed pure bees from one line. Artificial Insemination overcomes this problem.
This is kind of skill and technology is will help beekeepers and bee farmers worldwide. This is revolutionary and will no doubt bring the industry forward.
