Описание:
The express hall was once part of the sprawling boot works factory, which once employed hundreds of locals in Northamptonshire’s famous shoemaking trade.
In 1946 lord woolton opened the express hall as a social club .
However as the local shoe trade declined over the years, the factory closed down in 1982 with the loss of 320 jobs.
The factory and the social club laid derelict for many years until in 2007 the factory caught fire and was demolished. The express hall social club is now all that remains .
