Insulated cable lug ICL-2-70-240 was developed to provide a quick access to terminate the electrical power cable to insulator’s heads, transformers, and busbars using a wrench.

Key features of pre insulated cable lug:

Cable lug consists of:
1. Shear head torque bolt.
2. Tin covered aluminium body.
3. Insulation polymer seal.
4. Rotation ring.
5. Cable supporting ring.

Key installation steps:

1. Peel the cable’s insulation with the required length.
2. Use the metal brush to clean out the small particles.
3. Insert the cable into the lug.
4. Tighten the bolt, until the shears off.
5. Turn the ring as shown.
Two torque zones of shear head bolt guarantee the proper electrical contact during the application with different cable sizes.
6. Connect the lug with electric busbar.
