I started this spiritual adventure by train from Colombo to Hatton, enjoying the scenic beauty of Sri Lanka’s hill country. From Hatton, I took a local bus to Nallathanni, the gateway to the pilgrimage trail. From there, I began the climb to the summit — a path taken by millions of pilgrims each year, regardless of religion, to witness the sacred footprint and the breathtaking sunrise at the peak.
