Steve 'Starlo' Starling joins his mate and top fishing guide Glenn "Watty" Watt of Barefoot Fishing Safaris out on the Top End's Bynoe Harbour once again to pursue barramundi, threadfin salmon and various other sportfish on the shallow tidal flats while using BFS (bait finesse system) gear and various other light and ultra-light baitcaster outfits... Their results are illuminating, and the lessons invaluable! (Also, you'll want to see Starlo's catastrophic drone crash in this one...)

GEAR USED: Starlo was running a Shimano SLX BFS baitcaster reel spooled with 15 pound Kairiki-Plus, braid matched up with a Shimano TCurve 661 light baitcaster rod. He rigged with a rod length of 20 pound Ocea FC fluorocarbon connected to a short (25-30cm) shock tippet of 50 pound Ocea FC for abrasion resistance.
