There is a 5.42 acre parcel of land in North Naples where Vanderbilt Beach Road meets Gulf shore Drive 1 block from Vanderbilt Beach, and the Gulf, and the parcel also overlooks Vanderbilt Lagoon. Stock Development has proposed a resort style development called One Naples.

I get so many questions about One Naples, and I wanted to put together a quick video to talk about it. If you know the area I am talking about, it is absolutely beautiful, and perfectly situated, but you have to admit that is currently made up of a bunch of parts and pieces that do not fit together very well.

So, Stock Development has spent the last several years putting all the pieces of the puzzle together, purchasing many individual lots, meeting with neighbors, and doing their homework. They put together a very cohesive plan bringing all the elements together. They looked at all the natural beauty, the beauty of the Ritz Carlton resort right next door, Bay Colony and the rest of Pelican Bay and unveiled their proposal to the neighbors and public to many boo’s and hisses. As much as people do not want this area to change, they have to admit that is kind of the land of misfit toys now.

So Stock Development went back to the drawing board with all the feedback. The moved the setbacks, back, they came back with 2 towers instead of 1, folks were concerned about the height of the buildings, so they knocked off 3 stories, each tower will be 16 stories over 2 floors of parking ….they decreased the density of the project by 20% and there will be a total of 240 residential units, a a 75-slip marina on Vanderbilt Lagoon along with some commercial space including a coffee shop and a deli. They are reconfiguring the traffic patterns, parking, and really trying to do things right.

Here is where I want to throw my 2cents in: I don’t know if everyone is familiar with Stock Development or not, but they are a top notch builder in Southwest Florida! We have represented many buyers who have purchased a Stock home, and they are all extatic! I Mean every single one! The sales folks we deal with are exceptional, the homes they are build are incredibly high quality, and they take care of their customers! I cannot say enough good things about Stock Development.

Brian Stock their CEO is calling OneNaples his company’s Legacy project, and he has committed to do what he needs to do to make this project right with Naples, with our residents, and with the neighborhood. Brian Stock, Ceo said “This a Legacy Project, and My Name and Our Family’s Name is On The Door, and We Care About The Community, and We Care About Our Neighbors, and Trust Us, That We Are Going to Make This a Project That You’re Going to Be Proud Of”. Stock Development has won so many awards, they have incredible reputations, they are in Builder Magazine’s top building firms, they work with so many charities in and around town, I just cannot say enough good things about them. On top of it all, I think Brian Stock is a Packer Fan! Wait, did I just say that out loud?

Anyway, here is my message to anyone who has any reservations about this project, you should know the company you are dealing with. Vanderbilt Beach needs this type of an upscale, cohesive resort-style feel, and there is not a better company to do it. I would bet a lot on this project, and that this will be an incredible project that everyone will look at as one that really defined Vanderbilt and north Naples. I know it probably sounds like Stock is paying me to say all these good things, and I am not. I think that highly of them, and firmly believe they are perfect for this project. I can guarantee it is going to be incredible, it will be done right with people’s input, and mother nature I mind.
