Описание: You asked a really good question. You want to know how long after intercourse can you conceive a baby. Now a woman is fertile for 6 days out of each month - 5 days leading up to ovulation when her body releases an egg that could then be fertilized by sperm, and on the day of ovulation. And the whole reason your fertile for 5 days leading up to ovulation is because sperm can live inside a woman's reproductive system for 3 to 5 days. So you could potentially have intercourse 5 days before ovulation and get pregnant from that encounter. It's hard to say when the exact moment of conception occurs, but a woman's due date is always based off her last menstrual period and rough estimates of when most people ovulate. Ovulation usually happens about mid-cycle, and so that's how due dates are calculated. We don't always know the exact day you conceived unless you did in vitro fertilization or something like that. So it's just a best estimate.
