Описание: We all know the atmosphere of earth is composed of 78% nitrogen,21% oxygen and small amount of other gases.
Oxygen concentrator uses Pressure Swing Adsorption(PSA)technology.PSA is used to separate some gas species from a mixture of gases under high pressure.At first filtered air is sucked into a compressor then it is compressed to very high pressure,as the pressure increases the temperature also increases ,so it will pass a heat exchanger then come into one of the 2 cylinders,let’s call it cylinder A,inside the cylinders there is a substance known as zeolite which is made up of porous crystals and acts as a sieve. Since oxygen has slightly smaller molecular size than Nitrogen,allowing oxygen to pass through and stopping Nitrogen.This way 90-96% oxygen flows out from cylinder A. After a period of time,cylinder A get clogged by Nitrogen,so the circuit activates cylinder B and closes cylinder A,so cylinder A gets cleaned while cylinder B is producing oxygen,then after another time,cylinder B get clogged by Nitrogen,then the circuit board activates cylinder A work again. This cycle continues as long as we provide power&air. Then the oxygen flows out from outlet of cylinders.They come into the oxygen tank,passed through a pressure regulator ,bacteria filter then i can be passed to patients.
