How to Clay Bar Your Car

To remove embedded dirt, contaminants, tree sap, tar and overspray is made easy using detailing Clay Bars and Clay Mitts. in this video I show you how to use them to get the best results using my techniques.

Firstly I show you how to use a traditional Clay Bar to remove any surface dirt and contamination that can't be removed by washing alone. I show you what to use to get the best results and finish, and discuss when and why you should use a Clay Bar rather than a Clay Mitt. We use Chemical Guys Yellow OG Clay Bar in this section.

In the next half of the video, I use a Farecla Clay mitt and Meguiars Microfiber wash mitt which I picked up at a local Halfords car accessory story to show that You can still get great results using products that are easily and readily available. You can see how fast it is to use the Clay Mitt compared to the Clay Bar however I believe you need both to do the job properly.
