It's no secret that youtube is its own language which reacts positively to provocative videos. The largest common denominator makes the popularity of a certain video. Amid all of this, there is a very real risk of deep ideas getting drowned out to the point of erasure. Since the shallow thinkers also happen to be a majority who treat knowledge as an article of faith, they will be quick to shut down any view contrary to theirs. We must ask ourselves how much of this influences your language learning.
