hydraulic press is a machine that uses hydraulic pressure to compress or crush objects. It has a cylinder with a jack rod inside, which is connected to a hydraulic system. When force is applied to the jack, through a lever or motor, hydraulic oil is pumped into the cylinder, making pressure on the workpiece being pressed. This pressure can be used for many purposes such as forming, molding, bending, or crushing materials. Hydraulic presses are commonly used in manufacturing and metalworking industries.

I checked the readymade 100 ton Hydraulic press price it was roughly $2200 in my area. So I decided to make it by own.

I bought hydraulic press with motor readymade, and made body myself.

Here are the details of making complete body structure for hydraulic press machine.

Plate : 20mm thickness MS plate (all)
Piller plates : 7” x 6’ (6 feet) x 4 pcs, i used 46mm bolts to attach them. Inside 2” pipe sleeves

Top front plate: 13” x 62” x 2 pc, attached with piller plates using 46mm bolts,


Middle plate: 13” x 62” x 2 pc , 24mm bolts used and 1” pipe for sleeves,

Bed Plate : 48” x 24” , 6” x 24” hollow from center

Pins : 40mm MS pins
2.5” x 8mm MS angle bar for down supports.
200mm x 80mm x 8mm MS sheet bended feet. 30” length each

The width of frame is 16” from outside to outside
