As the administration unraveled, it became clearer that Ajimobi and Lanlehi had taken their rivalry to the point of no return.
As Adeseun helps the opposition defeat his former party, the future presents him a formidable battle in Ajimobi. As he confronts another governor, as the conflict pulls the rug from under his feet.
Ajimobi was the governor of Oyo State from 2011-2019.
He died on Thursday 25 June 2020 having been infected with Covid -19.
He was 70.
