Caustic Soda or sodium hydroxide is a highly aggressive and corrosive substance that absorbs moisture from the environment.
When dissolved in water, it is known as Caustic Soda. We use Caustic Soda to desulfurise acidic natural gas condensate, and to clean and degrease equipment.
Inhalation of vapours or spray mist may produce severe irritation of the respiratory tract. Anyone coming into contact with Caustic Soda may suffer serious burns.
