This sugar syrup can be used with many Arabic desserts, like Konafa, Qatayef, Lebanese Nights, and many others.....

Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
Directions:
• In a medium sauce pan, mix the sugar and the water until the sugar dissolves
• Bring to a boil and then add the lemon juice
• Let the mixture boil for approximately 10 minutes. The mixture should start to thicken very slightly, but it will continue to thicken after it cools completely
• After 10 minutes, remove from heat and add the orange blossom water, and stir
• Allow to cool a bit and transfer into a container
• Cover well and store at room temperate
• Once it cools down, pour it over your favorite Arabic dessert
• And Enjoy!
