Описание: Before everything, there is After, the LA- based trip-hop/pop project of Graham Epstein and Justine Dorsey. The duo, who first met on Hinge, is committed to bringing a utopian vision of the early 2000s into the present with their expertly crafted blend of moody, atmospheric soundscapes that marry Y2K aesthetics with downtempo beats, hazy electronics, and hypnotizing vocals. The duo’s first EP, a self-titled five-song package released last April, mixes moody drum and bass, grungy guitars, and shadowy trip-hop with bright mall-pop chords and flourishes. While performing tracks from their latest release ‘After EP 2’ and their single “300 dreams”, After’s Audiotree Live performance is flush with textural gems that linger on the more optimistic side of Y2K dreaming without kitschiness or feeling outdated.
