THE LAST USE OF THE HARCOURT STREET LINE WAS ON JUNE 16/17, WHEN A SPECIAL TRAIN WAS PROVIDED FOR THE MAKING OF THE FILM "JOHNNY NOBODY" BY THE ARDMORE STUDIOS.THE TRAIN, OF 6 COACHES & A WAGON CONTAINING A GENERATOR, WAS HAULED BY A CLASS LOCOMOTIVES; SCENES WERE SHOT AT CARRICKMINES STATION & AT TULLA CROSSING. and Bride's glen viaduct

The trains pulls into the station the priest get out crosses the GSR footbridge heads for a phone but the gardai appears and chase him the train leaves the station in foxrock direction ! and the priest manages to get on the train and the gardai jump on as well - #johnnynobody #disusedrailways #carrickmines
