1 Sorrowful Mother Shrine, 2 chapels, 41 Grottos on 120 acres of a peaceful pilgrim's paradise!

Описание: This Catholic waypoint should be on every pilgrim's short list. If you can, plan to spend a whole day and bring a sack lunch (yep, there's even a covered picnic area). The looped path to all the grottos is about a half mile and it is all paved for easy walking. Don't forget to bring your intentions and ask big - these are holy grounds where miracles happen.

Case in point: We rode our motorcycles from our son's place just north of Detroit and were heading back toward late afternoon. A thunder storm had developed over the Toledo/Detroit area and was heading our way. Our first little miracle was stopping at Gilberts Place to grab a quick dinner. They were closing in 30 minutes but our hostess offered to stay open as long as we wanted. A huge thanks to Gilberts Place. Our second miracle came as we headed west on highway 20 then north on highway 24 toward "home". The weather broke along our entire ride with the storm raging on either side with nary a drop of rain the whole way. Thank you Holy Angels - God is good.
