One of the variables you may encounter with rimfire ammo is rim thickness variation. Does rim thickness or rim thickness variation affect accuracy? Is better or 'premium' rimfire ammo more consistent? Does that truly mean tighter groups? We took some different rimfire ammo brands and tested them with a rimfire thickness gauge.
