"Unidos" is an Argentine patriotic song composed by folk singer Roberto Rimoldi Fraga. Its lyrics attempt to convey the message that the Argentine people should remain united and at peace, instead of fighting each other internally as during the civil wars of the first two thirds of the 19th century, developing the idea that the most important feats of the people were accomplished with a united people. The song also contains a message against intervention by foreign powers, such as the Brazilian Empire with the invasion of the Eastern Missions and the Banda Oriental, and the interventions of the British Empire and the French Empire, with the Anglo-French blockade of the Río de la Plata and the usurpation of the Malvinas.
