MAM72-35V 5 axis machining alloy steel, was 5 VMC ops now it's 2! 98% green light time! Watch in 4K

Описание: Watch as the pallet loads from the work station to the cutting center. This was a five station setup on the VMC (vertical machining center) then three on our HMC (horizontal machining center w/ full 4th axis) now it is one setup on our 5 axis, then we'll peal off the backside. This part is our fourth unique part, second job on the MAM. A slight improvement in or cinematic production, blending two different shots of the same part together. Here's what to look for:

00:00, 360 degree part preview, notice the chamfer edge breaks everywhere, find the one chip!
00:26, Start with pallet exchange from part load/unload station to machine
01:38, first tool breakage detection COOL!
01:49, Machining facing and profiling of part shape, cutting dry radial chip thinning.
04:14, some steam off the part (roughing tool starting to get dull, chips went from blue to neutral)
04:33, finish face and profile
05:24, ball endmill comes in to 3D profile oversize radius feature that we use to drill
07:18, TBD and start of 1/4" dia. endmill
08:40, TBD of 1/4" tool and switch to slitting saw
11:16, "ting" noise was not from this machine. I think someone dropped something close by
11:57, HWR fan cleaning coolant and chips off part and table. You can't see it but you can hear it
12:25, Probing starts. We added a macro to measuring every 5th part, not every part.
