Binalong Bay is a small picturesque coastal town in north-east Tasmania, situated at the southern end of the Bay of Fires. It is renowned for its crystal clear azure water, stretches of pure white sand beaches and burnt orange lichen covered granite boulders.

The Bay of Fires is located on the northeastern coast of Tasmania. It includes a gorgeous coastline that stretches over 50 kilometers. It is about a 3 hour 40 minute drive or 280 kilometers from Hobart city and 180 kilometers drive from Launceston.
Plenty of wildlife on the beaches and nearby, and the area feels relatively untouched. Public toilets and a picnic area are located nearby.
This is my most favorite beach in Tasmania and should not be missed if you’re doing a road trip around Tasmania.
