Описание: Hey guys, Jim from Import Image Racing here! Welcome back to the channel. In this week's video, we're installing the Noble Luxe Trunk Garnish LED onto the back of our 2022 to present Subaru WRX. Let's get started!

Before we dive into the installation, it's important to note that the factory rear emblem on this car is adhered with double-sided tape. Even with heat, removing and reinstalling the emblem can be challenging. For the best result, consider using a new factory emblem or a custom-fitted emblem like the Noble carbon fiber frameless with red stars we're using today.

First, you'll need to prep the surface, remove the protective film, and stick the new emblem to the garnish, allowing several hours for it to adhere properly. Next, we’ll focus on removing the factory garnish. Start by removing the nine push pins attaching the felt to the trunk lid. Then, disconnect the brown trunk button connector and remove the black 8mm bolts (one on each side) and the two silver 8mm nuts attaching the garnish to the trunk lid. Carefully pull the garnish off, keeping in mind the attached brown connector.

Once you have the garnish off, transfer all anchors and plastic clips from the old to the new garnish. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove and transfer the tag light frames. Then, free and transfer the trunk button with a screwdriver.

For the wiring, remove the driver side tail light by pulling towards the rear after removing the attachment hardware. Feed the small three-pin connector from the plug-and-play harness into the trunk and connect it to the factory harness. Finally, connect the three-pin connector to the light on the garnish and reattach the brown connector. Secure the new garnish with all the factory hardware, ensure all loose harnesses are secure, and reinstall the trunk felt.
