Unfortunately, that is not the case 95% of the time I would say
The way dealerships make money are the following
1. Sales of the actual cars.(markups are insanely low for the most part.)
2. Selling backend products.
3. The service department.
4. But most importantly they get paid by banks….. they get paid by power flats… thanks literally compete for your loan and pay the dealership to absorb them
