decades. Webb's images provide an intimate look at O’Keeffe’s life amidst the rugged

In 1961, Webb accompanied O’Keeffe and her friends on a ten-day rafting trip through
Utah’s Glen Canyon. His photographs from this journey were so personal that he later
compiled a special photo album exclusively for her.
Todd Webb, born in Detroit in 1905, had a diverse background—once working as a
prospector and studying photography under Ansel Adams. His career evolved through
experiences like roaming the streets of New York and Paris with his camera, serving in the
Navy during wartime, and forging friendships with influential figures such as Alfred Stieglitz.
Webb’s work consistently reflected his pursuit of authenticity, capturing genuine moments
