An "orphan spirit" is a state of mind and emotion characterized by feelings of abandonment, rejection, loneliness, and a lack of belonging.

Traits of an orphan spirit:
1. They are hypersensitive
2. They don’t know how to be a spiritual parent
3. They are always in competition with other leaders
4. They are driven by a search for significance
5. They don’t know how to emotionally connect
6. They do not feel good about themselves
7. They do not know how to treat others
8. They do not interpret reality correctly
9. People are objectified to obtain their goals
10. They are always looking for approval and recognition
11. They do not know how to submit to spiritual authority
12. They have a difficult time with their own family
13. They have a difficult time relating to God as their Father
