Ford Transit Connect LiftGate PROBLEM YOU Should Fix Now

Описание: The LiftGate on my 2014 Ford Transit Connect just stopped unlocking without warning. Our local Ford Dealership wanted $150.00 just to run a diagnostic that did not include fixing the issue. I found the problem myself. It's with the wiring that rubs on the inner frame which shorts out the locking/unlocking mechanism. There is no manual override, and no other way to open your lift gate. So, I'm sharing this video so that others who own this make/model car will know in advance that the liftgate wires are not properly protected from body contact wear and failure.

I separated, and wrapped each individual wire before binding them all together.
