Catch and Cook Sand Shark

Today we are doing something we’ve never done before and want to share it with you! We have been slaying the sand sharks lately and they are so much fun to catch! Some people call sand sharks dog fish or gummies - either way, they’re a good fight!!

We have heard about people eating sand sharks but have never had it ourselves until today!!

It’s incredibly important to dispatch the shark right after catching it, otherwise it will be inedible. Sharks urinate through their skin, so if you don’t bleed em and gut em right away, the meat will taste like urine….YUCK!

We decided to beer batter ours and it did not disappoint!
