Life is meaningless… Until I remember

This is a personal story.

Earlier this year, I wished this year could end sooner, because it was too painful.

Overnight, I became almost paralyzed.
Everything in my life stopped, except searching for medical treatments.

I spent eight months looking for a cure.
There were countless nights when I felt hopeless.

I kept asking myself:
When is this going to end?
When can I become “normal” again?
Where can I find the medicine?

But now, I finally remembered. We always have the greatest power within us:
a power that can transcend everything,
a power that can heal all.

So thank you, 2025.
Thank you for letting me play this ultra-difficult side quest.
I think I’ve completed it now.
And I’m ready to return to my main quest.

Thank you, universe, for trusting me with something this hard.
Thank you, Hannah, for holding onto full consciousness when your physical body collapsed.

Thank you to every person I met this year.
And thank you, 2025, thank you for allowing me to be reborn.

I’m ready to say goodbye to this side quest
and continue my 「Earth Online」 game,
with all of my memories...
