Woke up at ten, had photo edits to finish, a tenant on my doorstep complaining about the grass, a mower that hit a stepping stone and bent the deck so the blades wouldn't spin, a bees' nest under the porch, and a broken lens guard from dropping my camera. Sounds fun. I filmed myself in real time talking myself off the ledge. one thing at a time. There is a solution to everything. Two years ago I would've been completely unapproachable. Today I breathed, fixed the mower deck with my bare hands and a hammer, and finished the yard.
