Peregrine has asked XVIVO Scientific Animation to help them depict Bavituximab, an investigational cancer treatment that helps the body recognize and fight cancerous cells. Cancers use sophisticated mechanisms, namely expression of phosphatidylserine, to hide themselves from the body's immune response. Bavituximab targets these mechanisms, thereby encouraging active immune activity in cancerous environments.
