Waterworld is the 1995 box office bomb about the melting of the polar ice caps which causes the entire world to be flooded. It could've been a searing indictment of man's effect on the world but they really don't harp on it. Like they barely mention it to the point that when I was a kid I had no idea that we would've caused the ice caps to melt. They make it seem like it just happened.
