I have seen many of these "coral" bowls created. In case you weren't sure how to get this effect and make your very own coral bowls, here you go!
This is another technique with what we at MoltenWorks call "Freeforming." Basically building a project without a base piece making sure all of your pieces stick together to create a larger design. This process has many applications and having extra kiln shelves to build directly on is very helpful. I have my shelves cut to 10x10" to make them easy to work on and move.
