How to counter The Boss's CQC and get 'Wax On, Wax Off' in Metal Gear Solid Delta

Описание: To counter 'The Boss's CQC attempts in MGS Delta, press the CQC button (R2 on PlayStation, RT on Xbox) when the attack slows down.

The slowdown also comes with a specific noise. Use these cues to press the button in time.

Something important: the slowdown only occurs when 'The Boss' is attacking first - so wait for her to come to you. If you try and CQC first, it won't work. It also won't work if you are wearing camo that doesn't allow CQC (such as the white tuxedo) or a weapon without CQC capabilities (such as a sniper rifle), even if she attacks first.

Using the MK22, or having no weapon equipped at all, is fine.

To get the 'Wax On, Wax Off' Trophy / Achievement, counter a 'single' slowdown attack (in the first half of the fight) and a 'double' slowdown attack (in the second half of fight). She must attack you both times.

Waiting for her to attack and counter is also how best to do a non-lethal attempt. Use the MK22 behind cover until she rushes you, and repeat. Thermal Goggles and Snow camo can help you see her and hide yourself better, too.
