After seeing Buffalo Southern MLWs hauling loaded propane tankers on the former Erie Buffalo & Southwestern Branch in yesterday's video, we see a different kind of train running the old branchline in today's video: a Norfolk Southern autorack manifest! While it isn't a common sight to see the Class 1 running trains on the neighboring shortline's rails, NS actually controls the last few miles of the Erie branch from between CP Blasdell in Blasdell, NY to CP Draw in Buffalo; using the line as another way in and out of the Nickel City if trains are tying up both tracks of the Lake Erie District. So while it's it's nothing unusual, it's still an awesome sight to see a huge Norfolk Southern freight rumbling along shortline rails!
