But crossing China's population in absolute numbers is not what makes this problem threatening. What makes it threatening is the communal propaganda around it. India’s population problem in the mainstream public discourse is reengineered as a ‘Muslim’ problem.

In this video we delve into how much of this propaganda stands the scrutiny of facts and figures. And then redirect the conversation to what the population problem really means for India and how we can contextualise it in a global frame of reference.
