The first time I drove through here, I remember feeling slightly overwhelmed. It almost feels chaotic at first, like everything is moving at once. But the more I returned, the more I started noticing that even this chaos has its own rhythm.
As we continue west along Olympic Boulevard, this POV drive slowly changes character. The city streets widen, the urban architecture shifts, and the atmosphere becomes more structured. Passing through Downtown Los Angeles, Koreatown, and then into Beverly Hills, the city feels polished and cinematic — a completely different version of the same Los Angeles car drive.
Somewhere along the way, Waymo self-driving cars appear in traffic — beside me, ahead of me, even oncoming. One light-purple Waymo vehicle glides in front of the camera for a while, and I find myself following it through the city streets. It’s a small reminder that this California city is always balancing between old streets and new technology.
By the time we move toward Santa Monica, this Olympic Boulevard POV drive feels like traveling through several layers of Los Angeles in one continuous real-time city journey.
