Supta Baddha Konasana

Mula Bandha
Mula Bandha is the Sanskrit term for the "root lock" or energy center located in the pelvic floor. Practicing it creates attentiveness in the supportive muscles of the pelvis, which increases stability in the pelvis.
Locking this bandha is similar to doing a Kegel exercise on your pubococcygeus or PC muscle. The PC muscle found deep within the pelvis helps control the blood flow to the genital area of men. Remember: where the blood flows, the energy follows, so an engaged Mula Bandha leads to more blood flow to the genital region leading to more energy and lasting lovemaking session with your partner.
