Our guest speakers on February 5th was Sean Leach and Lesley Adams from Vermont Odyssey of the Mind, an international program of all volunteers that teaches students from elementary school through college important life skills such as creativity, teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and public speaking.
Students can pick a problem (maybe one from their passion) in areas of Vehicle, Technical, Classic, Structure, Performance or Primary – something for every student to excel, showcase or further develop their curiosity skills.
As part of the presentation, Rotarians were asked to participate in a challenge of the mind by table and using supplied objects to start the process. What a fun way to start the day and get those creative juices flowing.
