Overnight P&O Ferry from Hull to Rotterdam (Europoort) and back again, Sept/Oct 2024

In this video, we travel to Hull to catch the ferry on 29/09/2024 at 20:00(BST) sailing to Rotterdam Europoort at 08:45(CET) and returning on 04/10/24 at 21:00(CET) and getting to Hull at 08:00(BST). Remember that the ship's time is ALWAYS CET, so if you're booking a meal that'll be in Central European Time (CET). We sailed on the Pride of Rotterdam, however, the Pride of Hull is her sister ship.

The video covers some travel to and boarding the ferry, our cabin, the public areas as well as the open deck spaces (brrrr!).

We upgraded to a Stateroom that has a fixed double bed (with three sides against the walls which is not the best). It comes with an ensuite with good space. A complimentary mini-bar (2 beers, 1 white wine, 2 regular Pepsi, 2 diet Pepsi, 2 still water and 2 red wine), which I took with me! The stateroom comes with a VIP package which includes a concierge.

The bed was comfortable. The ship did not roll, which was good.

The staff were excellent. Scored a perfect 11 out of 10. This is not a sponsored video, so that's my honest opinion. The concierge man was brilliant. So polite, happy and attentive. Took our bags, and duty-free, from our vehicle to our room and back again.

We booked dinner and got VIP seats by the window. With hindsight the dinner was expensive and we could have taken a salad on board with us for dinner and eaten in our room.

We didn't need an alarm as the ship's PA wakes you up for breakfast, but we did not book breakfast and picked up a sandwich en route to Germany.
