Highlights from the 38th Annual Rake Up Boise capture the spirit of a long-standing community tradition that brings neighbors together to support seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities who meet income guidelines.
Each year, NeighborWorks Boise coordinates Rake Up Boise by matching volunteer teams with homeowners who need help preparing their yards for winter. What began as a small service effort has grown into a powerful day of community action, with businesses, civic groups, and neighbors stepping up to lend a hand.
Featuring volunteers, staff, sponsors, and homeowners—many of them seniors whose yards were cleared by caring community members—these moments reflect the heart of the program: neighbors helping neighbors.
