A 100% complete start-to-finish replacement of an alternator on a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. The. Entire. Dirty. Truth. It's a "half-hour job".
You'll only need a 10mm and 8mm socket. Plus a 3/8" drive ratchet or bar to manipulate the tensioner.
The steps should be near identical for any 1992+ Panther car (Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, or Lincoln Town Car).
